The Atlas Project, Office Coordinator Position 

The Organizing Group is seeking an Office Coordinator to assist the President and the Executive Director of The Atlas Project.

We achieve this by arming the community with historical elections data, sophisticated analysis and real-time updates for targeted states. Office Coordinator Position

  • Maintain daily schedule for President and Executive Director, including travel.
  • Manage logistics, planning, and execution of any organization-wide or public events.
  • Schedule and participate in weekly staff meetings.
  • Assemble necessary materials in advance of meetings and presentations.  Ensure appropriate staff members are in meetings.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls, letters, and e-mail communications, forward them to appropriate staff and/or respond where appropriate.
  • Assist with producing deliverables for clients including researching, editing and proofreading documents.
  • Perform specific research tasks for staff.
  • Order office supplies and maintain day-to-day function of office space.

 

The Office Coordinator must possess the following:

  • At least one year of professional experience, preferably in a political, issue advocacy, or campaign environment.  Previous scheduling experience required.
  • Ability to work quickly, manages several projects simultaneously, and adjusts to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and inter-personal skills. 
  • Ability to perform light research for staff.
