DESCRIPTION
The Jordan for Governor campaign seeks three (3) Organizers with strong organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
Responsibilities will include implementing the statewide field plan through direct voter engagement; developing relationships with community leaders; recruiting, training, and managing volunteers; coordinating with coalitions to ensure strong Democratic voter turnout; and traveling to recruit volunteers in the counties surrounding your office.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, pay high attention to detail, be goal-driven; and have the flexibility and temperament to work in a fast-paced and evolving political environment with constant interaction.
Long days and non-traditional work hours, statewide travel and occasional national travel required.

· 2-3 years of experience working in political or public affairs campaigns or consulting.
· Self-motivated, organized, and deadline driven with the ability to manage and support.
· Affable personality and pleasant temperament that is flexible to work with various volunteer personalities.

Proficiency in Spanish ideal, but not required.

2-year degree OR 2-3 years of experience working in political or public affairs campaigns.
