to GAIN POWER: Jobs That Are Left

We are seeking passionate, progressive Democrats who want to help elected Scott Stringer the next mayor of New York City!

For the last seven years as City Comptroller — and, before that, as a leading progressive in the New York State Assembly and as Manhattan Borough President — Scott Stringer has been a strong and consistent voice for a city for everyone: housing that middle- and low-income New Yorkers can afford… quality public education and city-backed childcare... fully funded higher education, mass transit, and public housing systems... and criminal justice and police reform to end police violence and mass incarceration.

Now Scott Stringer is a leading candidate to become New York City’s next mayor, and he is building a people-powered campaign to organize every community in the city.

About the Role: The Operations and Scheduling Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that the campaign runs effectively and efficiently. The Operations and Scheduling Manager will work with the campaign leadership on all aspects of campaign operations — from tech needs, to HR, to budget and financial management. The Operations and Scheduling Manager will also help manage the candidate's schedule, reviewing requests and arranging event logistics. We are looking for someone who is highly organized with strong project management skills, works well across teams and disciplines, and who will follow up until the job is done. The Operations and Scheduling Manager will report to the Deputy Campaign Manager and work closely with the Campaign Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Review and vet all candidate scheduling requests
• Manage the candidate's schedule, including ensuring that briefings and follow-up are complete
• Work with the Finance team and the Campaign Treasurer to track the campaign budget
• Manage operational needs and projects as they arise, particularly with regard to technology and human resources

Qualifications and Skills:
• A BA/BS degree from an accredited college
• A minimum of two years' experience in an operations and/or project management role
• Experience in financial management, accounting, and/or complex scheduling/event coordination is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:
$4,500/Month, and benefits include health insurance. Position is full-time and reports directly to the Deputy Campaign Manager.

We are looking for individuals who live their progressive values, and act with kindness and respect toward all.

We are committed to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism, and we strongly encourage people from historically underrepresented groups to apply.
