Finance Fellows Needed for Upstate NY Campaign

Aaron Woolf for Congress (NY-21) - based in Plattsburgh, New York, on the shore of Lake Champlain, is seeking full-time Summer Finance Fellows. As a member of the finance team you will be on the front line of one of only seven congressional races rated as a “toss-up” by the nationally respected Rothenberg Political Report. The skills you learn on this campaign will be invaluable as you navigate the world of Democratic politics. While the focus of this fellowship will be on finance, you will have the opportunity to interact with and learn from all aspects of the campaign.

 

Regular Duties Will Include:

 

-Conducting donor research

 

-Assisting in the coordination of fundraising events

 

-Working with the finance team to maintain the donor database

 

-Assisting in the drafting of fundraising emails and other communications

 

-Conducting direct donor outreach

 

Aside from these regular duties, as a campaign fellow you will soon learn that no two days on a campaign are alike, and one cannot predict what will be needed day-to-day. It is important that you are able to adapt to new responsibilities as they arise.

 

Housing within walking distance of the campaign office is available, though on a limited basis.
