Campaign Manager

Artos Consulting, a progressive Oakland-based consulting firm, seeks an experienced campaign operative for the role of Campaign Manager.

Responsibilities: 

• Organize and coordinate multiple stakeholders and community organizations to engage in the campaign. 
  
• Organize and manage volunteer leaders, campaign staff, and interns
  
• Manage 4-5 district offices/organizers in various parts of the East Bay
  
• Manage and execute candidates daily schedule and coordinate multiple events
  
• Recruit, train, engage, and mobilize volunteers in various roles (phone bank, canvass, etc)
  
• Participate in campaign development, strategizing and implementation.
  
• Participate in building campaign coalitions and key relationships with campaign-related allies.
  
• Perform other duties as required.
  

Experience Sought: 

• At least 1 (ideally 2) cycles as a campaign manager in a large (Countywide, State Assembly, or large District) race.
  
• Commitment to and experience with progressive values and grassroots organizing. 
  
• Experience working with ethnically, economically, and culturally diverse communities. 
  
• Experience handling multiple projects in a variety of areas simultaneously
  
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision. 
  
• Proven ability to motivate and manage staff and volunteers. 
  
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects.
  
• Ability to take direction and constructive feedback.
  
• Driver’s license and access to a car.
  
• Experience with PDI, G Suites, and Nationbuilder. 
  

Position is to start immediately and go until June 15th. Someone who can hit the ground running will be the ideal candidate. Only candidates who are immediately available will be considered. Salary Range $2500-$3500.
