The campaign manager oversees all aspects of the campaign including day-to-day operations, the hiring and
management of staff, the coordination and implementation of the fundraising operations and ongoing
coordination with the candidate. They are also responsible for creating and managing the campaign budget.

Position Summary
Board of Supervisors campaign is currently seeking a dynamic campaign manager for a progressive candidate.


Duties
· Manage the execution of the campaign strategy, plan, and budget that center on a robust data-backed, people-powered campaign and an aggressive communications and media strategy.

· Oversees daily operations of the campaign (finance, press, field, research, new media, scheduling, event planning, and compliance), including logistics and management of the candidate’s schedule.

· Develop a budget, track cash flow, and ensure campaign is staying on budget.

· Build and maintain relationships with local Democratic elected officials, party leaders, grassroots activists and volunteers.

· Work with candidate and consultants to create compelling mail and digital creative.

· Recruit, hire and manage outstanding volunteers and staff.



Required Skills

· Must have at least 1 cycle of campaign experience.

· Experience in multiple facets of a campaign including field and communications. Strong field experience preferred.

· Willingness to work campaign hours, including nights and weekends.

· Knowledge of NGP VAN, VoteBuilder and voter targeting is desirable.

· Superior project and people management skills.

· Ability to problem-solve independently and take creative approaches to meeting goals

· Strong interpersonal communications skills and possess the ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers.

· Must be well-organized, professional, and punctual.

· Able to function well in high-stress situations.

· Willing to relocate to Loudoun County, Virginia and have means of reliable transportation.



Compensation
Will be commensurate with prior experience.
