Chris Zannetos for Massachusetts' 4th Congressional District
Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy is not running for re-election in the 4thCongressional District of MA. He and Barney Frank have held this district for
the past 40 years – these are not easy shoes to fill. While many candidates are running for the Democratic nomination, most exciting is hi-tech entrepreneur and education activist Chris Zannetos.
Chris comes to this race from a different background than most. Over 160 members of Congress have law degrees, as does a majority of the candidates in the race to succeed Congressman Kennedy. Only six members of Congress have
a professional background in technology. Chris completed his undergrad and graduate studies at MIT and founded and built several successful technology firms. His exceptional background and experience will be invaluable as Congress looks to set future policy on issues affecting us all.
If you are looking for a candidate who has been at the forefront of many of the issues related to cybersecurity, privacy, and supporting minorities and others underrepresented in the tech world - then this may be the campaign for you!
Chris is also the founder of STEMatch Massachusetts, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring and supporting STEM education for people of color, veterans, people from low income backgrounds, and other groups under-represented in the tech industry through business-educational institution collaboration. Chris is a passionate believer in STEM education as a powerful tool to drive economic advancement.
