Northern VA Congressional Campaign is looking to hire a CM ASAP.
Description:
This campaign is looking to elect the first woman scientist ever to serve in Congress. Applicants should have 1-3 cycles of previous experience as a Field Director, Finance Director, Political Director, or equivalent experience. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for:
- Working with the consulting team to coordinate the campaign strategy and implement the campaign plan.
- Manage a campaign budget in the mid six-figure range.
- Draft and send campaign communications including press releases.
- Help manage candidate schedule, events, and call time.
- Recruit and manage interns and additional campaign staff.
- Coordinate ballot access/petitions for the candidate.
- Coordinate endorsement processes and draft questionnaires when necessary.
- Other duties and tasks will arise.
This
is a full-time position located in Manassas VA. Applicants must
be local or willing to relocate. Hours will vary but please be prepared to hit the ground running.
Campaign Manager will be an at-will employee. Salary commensurate with experience.
