Fund for the Public Interest- Hiring for Canvassers, Field Managers, and Directors (Minneapolis, MN)

The Fund for the Public Interest works with some of the top progressive organizations in Minnesota. This fall we will be working with Environment Minnesota and USPIRG.

USPIRG: USPIRG stands up to powerful special interests on behalf of the public, working to win concrete results for our health and our wellbeing.  With a strong network of researchers, advocates, and organizers, we take on the special interests on issues such as product safety, public health, political corruption, and consumer protection. We had a huge victory for public health earlier this year when we helped convince McDonalds to agree to stop selling chicken raised on Antibiotics. We hope this will be the beginning of an industry-wide shift that will slow the rise of antibiotic-resistant diseases.  

 

Environment Minnesota: Environment Minnesota is a project of Environment America.  We are a citizen-based environmental advocacy organization operating at both the state and national level. Our staff and members work to protect the places we love, advance the environmental values we share, and win real results for our environment. Recently, we worked with our allies to rally 800,000 people to support the EPAs plan to restore Clean Water Act protections.
