FINANCE DIRECTOR for Competitive VIRGINIA STATE SENATE RACE

One of the most competitive State Senate Races in Virginia is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Finance Director position.

Start Date: Early April

Finance director must have experience with the following:

            - at least one or two cycles of finance experience (Finance Director, Deputy Finance Director, Call Time Manager, Finance Assistant)
            - implementing and being accountable to an aggressive campaign finance plan
            - call time, event management and a pledge/thank you letter program
            - donor research, including VPAP, Open Secrets and other means
            - building, implementing and managing an email fundraising program
            - knowledge of Act Blue and NGP as well as filing accurate compliance reports

            - managing candidate time and schedule.

A successful applicant will be prepared to work campaign hours, often times involving weekends and late nights.  Re-location to or near the district is required; supporter housing is available. Must have access to a dependable vehicle and laptop.
