VA Victory 2014 Field Organizer (Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia)

Virginia Victory 2014, the Coordinated Campaign to help re-elect Sen. Mark Warner and all Democrats down the ballot is looking for field organizers in Northern VA and Hampton Roads. We are a fun team looking to expand just a little bit more during out final push. So if you have a strong work ethic, a penchant for liberal politics, and a desire to have a career outside the cubicle then keep reading.

Field Organizer duties include:

• Recruiting and organizing volunteer teams and leaders around large scale canvassing and phone operations while simultaneously aiding in the completion of personal canvassing and call goals.

• Recording data accurately and in a timely fashion.

• Meeting strict volunteer recruitment goals including but not limited to: recruitment phone calls and one on one meetings with volunteers.

• Multi tasking taken to it’s farthest extreme

• Interacting with volunteers and co-workers on a non stop basis

Qualified applicants must:

• have access to reliable transportation

• have a cell phone

• have a laptop

• be willing to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.

• have strong interpersonal skills, a sense of humor, and work well in a team environment.

At least 1 cycle of campaign experience and familiarity with VAN and google docs is a plus but not required.
