Deputy Digital Director, Bob Casey for Senate

The Bob Casey for Senate digital team is looking for a deputy digital director to join our Philadelphia office.

 

The digital team engages, organizes, and grows the community of Bob Casey supporters online. Sitting at the intersection of communications and finance, the digital team’s directive is both to fundraise and push campaign messaging.

 

DUTIES

·      Draft, edit, and produce fundraising and organizing emails

·      Maintain social media calendar and create social media content (including graphics and videos)

·      Write and update campaign website and other longform content

·      Gather and analyze cross-platform digital analytics

·      Occasional campaign travel within Pennsylvania

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The right candidate will have:

·      At least one cycle of digital experience, either on a campaign, at a political organization, or at a political firm (experience with an email emphasis is a plus)

·      A deep understanding of the internet: You know how to differentiate your writing for Twitter versus Facebook, what makes a piece of content go viral, and what makes an email stand out in a crowded inbox

·      Excellent editing and proofreading skills

·      Some photography, design and/or video production experience, including but not limited to Photoshop, Premiere or iMovie

·      Basic HTML skills

·      An understanding that keeping this Senate seat blue isn’t a 9-5 job
