We are looking for a talented professional and personal assistant to service be the primary point person for two partners of a consulting firm. We are looking for a candidate who can serve as the right hand person to both partners doing everything from frequent scheduling – which also requires frequent outreach to potential clients, donors, and candidates on the phone  – brief writing and travel arrangements to diving in with staff to deliver pitch decks, proofread documents and track expenditures and reimbursements. 

Because both partners are constantly working, we need someone who can assist with occasional personal tasks: grabbing meals for guests, booking personal travel, grabbing dry cleaning, and generally being able to run point on all aspects for the partners. 

There will be a million projects that come across your desk. We need someone who is a self motivated strong analytical thinker, and are comfortable working with rapid speed and will go to lengths to seek the right, best answer. We require a clear and effective communicator, and can take complex ideas and help shape them into a simple narrative. Most importantly, we need someone who can take little to no direction, honey badger the crap out of an assignment and deliver. 

At the end of the day you will be a part of something bigger than you – working to help make sure our clients and our team get as much from the partners as possible to be able to win tough elections, grow progressive organizations and build something great.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

A) you are a staunch Democrat.

B) you have excelled professionally in campaigns, at an ad agency or a tech start up – or you think you can.

C) you have the acumen to get things from colleagues, connect with CEOs and look for the best quick answer.

D) Your writing is impeccable, your attention to detail is outmatched and no one can outwork you. 

If it isn’t obvious nights, weekends, travel, hustle and stamina is necessary.
