Greetings,

I am not sure if I understand the question correctly; you can use any Price or Volume indicator in JBookTrader. Please note that JBookTrader was specifically designed for strategies that use Order Book data. The predecessor to JBookTrader was a system called JSystemTrader that supports various strategies using many Indicators including MACD. You can use MACD in your JBookTrader strategies as well. It all depends on the underlying timeframe you want to use and how your trading strategy utilizes a particular indicator.

Hopefully this helps.

Hi,

I'm new to JBookTrader, but find the project very interesting and me and my friend will try to develop our ATS based on it.

We havent found anyone using JbookTrader to trend based trading like moving averages, MACD etc.
Are there such projects and is there anything we should think about before start using JBookTrader for such activities?

We are also thinking about integrating another broker service into the project, any experiences with that?

Thankful for any replies.
