I am currently using https://sysgears.com/grain/ to build a project documentation site, but sadly, the project is not very well maintained, so there are some stability issues. I am considering moving to JBake, but have one important question. The distinguishing feature of the grain is an ability to apply custom transformation to the data model after it is read from file but before actual html generation.
Typical use-case: need to join a few separate documents into one page sorting them according to meta-data.

I looked through JBake code and documentation but have not found any way to do such transformations from the code. Did I miss something?

Hi,

There isn't anything in JBake right now to perform a custom transformation after the file has been read, this is something that the plugin/extension system will hopefully facilitate though.
