Energy and Utilities industry experience is a must

 

Responsibilities:

·         Ensure Scrum Framework is followed including required meetings and artifacts.

·         Inspect and adapt with their team to constantly improve performance and responsiveness.

·         Works closely with Product Owner to ensure product backlog and release plans are clear.

·         Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Facilitates the team in estimation of product back-log items and identifying / managing cross organization dependencies.

·         Responsible for ensuring that all needed assets and resources are identified to successfully meet project requirements.

·         Facilitates sprint planning meetings and daily stand up meetings.

·         Tracks, resolves, and escalates impediments.

·         Will be held ultimately responsible for accurate communication of release dates."   "- 5+ years of experience in a technical software development environment

·         Demonstrated experience driving agile planning and execution

·         Must adeptly work with team and other agile managers to identify / manage cross organization dependencie.

·         Demonstrate facilitation skills and the ability to maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization

·         Very strong communication and organizational skills

·         Been a Scrum Master for at least three years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

·         Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc

·         Knowledge and / or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games

·         Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)

·         Scrum Master Certification.

·         Second level Scrum Master Certification (CSP, PSM II), preferred
