Islandora Datastream Exporter module - proposal for inclusion in Islandora

On behalf of the University of Saskatchewan Library, I would like to offer the Islandora Datastream Exporter module for inclusion in Islandora, with a canonical repo on GitHub owned by the Islandora Foundation, subject to the same release management and documentation processes as other Islandora modules. 

The Islandora Datastream Exporter module (https://github.com/discoverygarden/islandora_datastream_exporter) provides a Drush script that can be used to bulk export datastreams based on any Solr query. Our main use case is to bulk export the MODS datastream for import into other systems, but it can be used for any available datastream.

This module was developed by Discovery Garden under contract with the University of Saskatchewan. It is available under the GPL 3 license, and we are in the process of having a corporate Contributor License Agreement signed by the University of Saskatchewan.

Big thanks for this contribution. It has been accepted by the Islandora Foundation. Currently it has a home in Islandora-Labs where it can be further developed and can be nominated by the community for future inclusion in an official release.
