Hi Hally -

Make sure your Resource index is enabled
This snippet is from  the fedora.fcfg file (found under /fedora/server/config

    <comment>Supports the ResourceIndex.</comment>
    <param name="level" value="1">
      <comment>(required)
            Index level. Currently, only 0, and 1 are supported levels.
            0 = off and 1 = on.
            WARNING: changing the level (except to 0) requires
            running the Resource Index Rebuilder.</comment>
    </param>

You can verify that the Resource index is working by going to  <your_server_name_here>:8080/fedora/risearch
Finally make sure you have your site properly configured.  From the islandora configuration screen ( <your_server_name_here>/admin/settings/fedora_repository) be sure Fedora RISearch URL is set to  <your_server_name_here>:8080/fedora/risearch.

I have a new install using V12.2
When I access the Digital Repository I am receiving this error message: "The Fedora resource index search is currently unavailable. Please contact the site administrator"

I do not have Solr or Gsearch installed.
I can access Fedora and ingest objects: http://localhost:8080/fedora/admin/
I checked Islandora Configuration and have a successful connection with a green check mark.

Can anyone suggest the next course of action.

Hi Alan, I made the suggested changes. Fedora RISearch is now running.
When I click on 'Digital Repository', I now receive this error message:
Just a note, I am running the stack all on Windows Server.
