Mark Jordan proposes that Islandora Dev 101 (
https://github.com/mjordan/islandora_dev101) become a repository in Islandora Labs, with a canonical repo on GitHub owned by the Islandora Foundation, subject to the same release management and documentation
processes as other Islandora modules.
The repository and its submodules are released under a GPL-3.0 license.
I wrote this tutorial originally for a workshop at the 2015 Islandora Conference, but since then, others have used it in venues such as Islandora Camps to provide a hands-on introduction to developing Islandora 7.x modules. Several people have contributed to
the tutorial or provided sample code. I agree to be the principle maintainer of the repository but feel that by hosting it in Islandora Labs, more people will be encouraged to use and add to it.
All contributors to the tutorial so far have a signed Contributor License Agreement with the Islandora Foundation:
Mark Jordan
Rosemary Le Faive
Jared Whiklo
Marcus Barnes
Jonathan Green
Thank you,
Mark
