The Braun School of Public Health at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem-Hadassah Faculty of Medicine seeks to fill a tenure-track position (Lecturer or Senior Lecturer - equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the 2019-2020 academic year beginning on July 1, 2019 (first semester) or December 1, 2019 (second semester).
The position is open to highly qualified candidates in all areas of public health research. Priority will be given to candidates with specialization in the areas of Biostatistics or Health Economics.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent degree. The Faculty will consider applicants that have demonstrated excellence and creativity during their doctoral and postdoctoral training.
Successful applicants are expected to carry out independent competitive research programs and participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
Applicants should submit the following documents no later than January 31, 2019 through the Faculty's website :
· Curriculum Vitae
· Cover letter / Applicants' statement addressed to the dean, Prof. Dina Ben-Yehuda
· List of Publications
· Passport picture
· Scientific biography - description of your scientific achievements (one page)
· Research plans (no longer than three pages)
· Teaching statement (not longer than one page)
The Faculty's Search Committee will select a limited number of applicants who will be invited for an interview at the Faculty during March-April, 2019.
