The Avraham lab at the Weizmann institute has just opened and we are looking for highly motivated Msc and PhD students for the study of host-pathogen genomics. Work in the lab involves both bioinformatics and experimental biology, so students with background in biology/computer science/mathematics/biotechnology are welcome to apply.
Research in the lab is cross-disciplinary, and involves developing innovative single-cell analysis platforms to profile host-pathogen interactions. We use a model of salmonella infection of mouse macrophages to develop state of the art high throughput genomic tools and interdisciplinary approaches, and then apply them to various in vivo infection models to address critical biological aspects of host-pathogen biology. visit our website for more information: http://www.weizmann.ac.il/Biological_Regulation/avraham/
