I think the ID of my plant needs to be checked. It looks much different from the ones posted by Rawat ji and Nidhan ji.

There are a lot of variations in the shape of leaves in this species. Specimens from Jawa, Peru etc (RBG, Kew)  look different from south Indian plants.

just the leaf size does not identfy a plant
