Dear Hemson ji,
Thanks. It does look like Pseuderanthemum. What are the common species in India?

Mohan ji
You have a point. the veins definitely look yellow, but there is a dilemma for me. I find in Hortus Third

P. atropurpureum (now considered under P. carruthersii): Leaves ovate or elliptic, to 15 cm long, purple or green, variously marked with yellow along veins; corolla 2.5 cm across, white with purple markings

P. reticulatum: leaves ovate-lanceolate, 12-30 cm long, undulate margin; veins yellow; corolla 4 cm across

Dear Dr. Gurcharan Singh,
I agree with your diagnosis. Flower size, colour, leaf shape and size all point to P. carruthersii. Thanks to Hemson ji and you for all the help.
Mohan
