Yes, it  resembles Lamprachaenium microcephalum (Dalzell) C.B.Clarke

First I thought it could be a species of Centratherum.    When I checked  for  the ID   as suggested by   Dinesh ji  it turned out to be  very close to  Lamprachaenium microcephalum .  Dinesh ji is right.
