Family :Urticaceae

Genus & species: Laportea interrupta (L.) Chew

Vern. Name : Dam-chorat (Assamese)

Habitat: Grows wild side of the drain

Habit : Herb

A very pleasant coincidence.Today I was trying to find what this plant is;which grows wild in our coconut garden occasionally.Even if it slightly itches the skin on contact;it is used as a leafy vegetable in our place.
