Didi,

Yes, the link i have provided is troublesome, i give you another link, though still chinese - http://www.cfh.ac.cn/spdb/TaxonNodeTree.aspx?spid=23361 and a KEW herbarium of the species - http://apps.kew.org/herbcat/getImage.do?imageBarcode=K000900620.

The genus Phaseolus, in FBI, is featured with twisted/spiral keel and thus separated from Vigna. Sir Prain redefined Phaseolus velutinus of FBI as Dysolobium grande.

There are two Vigna caracalla as far as my search goes - one is Vigna adenantha (G.Mey.) Marechal & al., which I targeted first, but has glabrous pods; and the other is Vigna caracalla (L.) Verdc., where pods are much narrow as per pictures found in the net, and I have doubt over its distribution in NE India.

Thank you
Regards
