Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week
grasses, sedges and rushes
Poaceae
Grass
Place, Altitude: Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary ... about 510 ft asl
Date, Time: 10 OCT 09 ... 12:53pm
Habitat: along large path in dry deciduous forest
Habit: erect herb; not sure of height

I had clicked this "only" photo because of the sheer beauty of the grass flowers;
... with no intention of wanting to get it identified.
With no full view of the plant, it may be difficult to arrive to any ID.

... flowers of grass
Regards.
