I don't believe this is an Acanthaceae, let alone a Strobilanthes. Try Clerodendron (Verbenaceae) or Scrophulariaceae S.L.

Dear Sir,
the given plant specimen is Strobilanthes ciliatus Nees. Please check Rheedea. 23 (1): 1-7. 2013,for the paper " Taxonomic status of Strobilanthes warreensis (Acanthaceae), an endemic species of Western Ghats, India" in which I have merged Strobilanthes warreensis Dalzell with Strobilanthes ciliatus Nees.

A small clarification required:

Is the correct spelling Strobilanthes ciliata or Strobilanthes ciliatus?
