Dinda(?)

This shrub was abundant in Amboli 5-6Jul 2008.
Local people were calling it as "Dinda" in Marathi
I think its some plant from Genus Leea.
Vegetative characters....Compound leaves with 5-7 leaflets.Violet tinge on stems. Inflorescence corymbose cyme?
Incidentally Dr Rajendra Shinde has posted one picture, the flower shape of which very much resembles these tiny white flowers.
Anybody have any details. I am sure Dr Neil must be knowing it.

Hi Satish,
'Dinda' is the local name for Leea macrophylla. Your specimen is likely to be Leea indica.
Sending you photographs of L.macrophylla and L.asiatica for comparison.
Incidentally Dr.Rajendra Shinde's red-flower variety is possibly L.coccinea [if it was cultivated] or L.setuligera [if it was found in the wild].
