Lagerstroemia microcarpa (Nana in Marathi) of Lythraceae family. Occasionally common in moist deciduous forests of Western Ghats. Endemic to region. Photographed on 4th May`12 at Barvi Forest, Badlapur - Maharashtra

As the leaves appear to be sessile, it may be Lagerstroemia parviflora, as per discussions at identification no 070711sn3
