Big tree seen in Coffee estates in Chikmagalur Region (Karnataka).

Erythrina sp.. ID please..

Thanks a lot Pudji Widodo ji for the probable ID. It does look like E. caffra. I think Coffee estate guys must have cultivated this tree for shade along with Silver Oak trees..

It does not match with images of Erythrina caffra. I think close to images at Erythrina arborescens Roxb. (found wild in Himalayas, I do not whether it is cultivated in south India)

Garg ji, this must be Erythrina subumbrans (Hassk.) Merr. found cultivated in / around coffee plantations, in hill stations of South India.
