Broad Institute systems outage October 17-20 affects IGV

Most IT services at the Broad Institute, including all web sites, file servers, and database servers, will be down from 12:01 am on Thursday, October 17 and through Sunday, October 20.  How does this affect IGV users?

• The IGV web site (www.broadinstitute.org/igv) will be offline, i.e. no access to documentation or the downloads page.

• The File > Load from Server menu of Broad-hosted data will not be available.

• Most IGV genomes will be available, except the following genomes will not be available.

• Launching IGV will not work from GenomeSpace (www.genomespace.org), the cBio Cancer Genomics Portal (www.cbioportal.org), or any web link that uses the dynamic PHP file described in the IGV User Guide.
