I can not install "Tycho Build Tools" from Eclipse Marketplace

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to set up iDempiere6.1 Development environment for the first time.

I refer to wiki - Building iDempiere by tycho (http://wiki.idempiere.org/en/Building_iDempiere_by_tycho )

I am trying to install "Tycho Build Tools" from Eclipse Marketplace for a few days.

But I can not install "Tycho Build Tools" because of "No repository found at http://ibh-systems.com/download/tycho-build-tools/."

How should I do this?

I tried both Eclipse4.8 and Eclipse2018-09.

i'm not sure version on home is up to date, but give a chance. maybe they off server for maintenance

download it from https://code.google.com/archive/a/eclipselabs.org/p/tycho-build-tools/downloads

and install manual

I am happy if you  answer it.

Is  "Tycho Build Tools"  mandatory tool to  set up iDempiere6.1 Development environment?

I tried to  set up iDempiere6.1 Development environment without "Tycho Build Tools" .

But I got many error. Please see attachment image.

it isn't mandatory, you can get some error about maven on eclipse. just ignore it.

about your issue, maybe you forget to run "mvn validate"

that step download library

you are right. 

I done "mvn verify" only.

I done both "mvn valiate" and "mvn verify" .

So, I could set up iDempiere6.1 Development environment without "Tycho Build Tools" .

in case you run "mvn verify", you don't need to run "mvn validate"

verify incluce validate. but at least you done :)

Good morning Hiep.

To create patches of core classes of "iDempiere", I used the method created by JPiere:

http://wiki.idempiere.org/en/JPiere_Development_environment_establishment#MANIFEST_file_of_org.adempiere.ui.zk

Until the version of iDempiere 5.1 has worked in the correct way; since I updated to version 6.1, with openJdk_10, unfortunately, the fragment does not work on the build created.

Can you tell me, please, in your opinion what is wrong?

almost things is not change, just tool change.

so compare your output from two version to know what's different

Because of your help and your useful wiki documents, I could convert my plugins(JPiere)  to Maven project that is running on iDempiere6.1.

And I could create install package of iDempiere that my plugins(JPiere) are included.

The management works for a while and then I do not know why it disconnects the fragment plug-in.
