Installing Atom 2.0 on Windows

Hello everyone.

I'm struggling to install Atom 2.0 on a Windows pc. is there anyone who can help with this issue?

So wonderful to hear from you. Can you explain step-by-step what you did during install and where the problem occurred? Including an explanation of the error or problem? That way we can provide accurate troubleshooting help.

Hi Jessica

I installed XAMPP, unzipped the AtoM 2.0 package in a folder and used this url: localhost/icaatom-2.0.0/index.php/;sfInstallPlugin. it"s not running, we get a white blank page.

Dear Nkosinathi,

In our qubit toolkit wiki we have documentation to assist developers that are installing ICA-AtoM and running into problems.
You will notice that the first issues is a blank white screen:

A blank, white screen in Qubit means that an error has occurred when loading the page. Qubit usually supresses error messages for security reasons, so the first thing to do is put the application in Debug mode, then re-try whatever you were doing when you got the white screen. If the page loads with no errors in Debug mode, then you probably just need to Clear cache to fix the regular (not in debug mode) webpage.

If you get an error message, please see if it is addressed below.

If you still get a blank, white screen you will have to check your web server error log for error messages. See http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/apache-logs/ for information on how to find the error log for the Apache web server. For other web servers (nginx, lighttpd, etc.) please see the server documentation for information on where to find the error log file.

Please let me know if this helps, or if the problem persists.
