Select multiple images to upload at once - HTML5 file upload

According to your documentation, HTML5 file upload including multiple selection of files is possible with Hippo CMS.

However, I'm unable to do so using Hippo CMS 7.9.6 and Chrome 40+.

The HTML input tag seems missing the multiple attribute.

What am I missing?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the HTML5 multiple file upload is only
possible when uploading directly in the gallery and assets folders in
the 'explorer', not in the image selection dialog within a document /
rich text area.

Hi,

I tried the same thing but it doesn't work with my configuration.

The flash version does allows me to select multiple items and upload them.

I'm running chrome on mac os x and hippo cms 7.9.6

What am i missing?

Are you in the assets section or in a picker? It does not work in the picker as far as I know, but does work while in the browse perspective.

BTW. I would advise you to upgrade to 7.9.7. It contains quite some bugfixes and improvements for multi file uploads.
