Auto resize uploaded image

Hey hey,

Simple question: every image being uploaded must not be larger than x pixels. If it is, I want to resize the image (not crop it) automatically when uploaded.

Does Hippo CMS provide such a functionality? I could not find one, but perhaps I'm overlooking something :).

Oh, just for the extra info : I'm working on Hippo 7.9 (Enterprise).

The original image is in general stored as is, but automatically some
scaled variants are created. Via essentials you can configure what
sizes the variants have to be (default imageset uses original and
thumbnail IIRC). Not sure if you want to completely remove the
original. Not sure if that is possible out of the box. Someone else
can chime in here perhaps

Images should be scaled to the bounding box you define. If you want to actually modify the original image then you will need to override the gallery processor.
