Hi all!

I've noticed that when I put an image in a rich text field and I want to align it, Hippo adds the align="" attribute to my <img>. That's invalid html, (deprecated since HTML 4.01 according to MDN). I'd like to have configurable classes to add to the <img> element, so that I can align the image with CSS.

Do you guys know if this is on the Hippo road map?

Thanks and kind regards,
Tom

Looking through Old Jira issues this was a problem in the old Xinha editor as well, but was closed because CKEditor was being introduced:

Sadly this issue is still present in Hippo 10.1.0

Has there been an update on this?

Tom, (how) did you manage to solve this problem?

Ramon

Hi Ramon,
It's still being worked on by Hippo: CMS-9746
we have instructed our editors not to use the alignment dropdown and use block styles in CKEditor instead:

Martijn
