1.  Congrats goes to our Students of the Month for the month of March!

These students were selected by the staff at HHS for their positive character, friendly personality, and willingness to go out of their way to help others in and out of the classroom.  Please see Mrs. Fahr by the end of the week!

Congrats also goes to Mr. Safford for being this month's Raise Your Paws winner!

2.  Seniors a list of Achievement Cords for the Class of 2014 is posted in the Guidance Office.  Please check the list before April 17.  If you feel you deserve a cord and were not on the list, be sure to see Mrs. Hahn or Mrs. Henning before April 17.


3.  Fisher-Titus Medical Center's Autism Spectrum Kinds (ASK) Program and Pediatric Therapy Department are looking for COMMITTED volunteers to help with their annual summer programs for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. 

If you are interested, please stop in the guidance office for more information and an application.
4.  The Huron Library Teen Library Council meeting has been rescheduled for today from
3:15 - 4:15 pm
at the Huron Public Library
.

The Job Fair for Teens, scheduled for this Saturday at the Huron Public Library, has been canceled.

5.  Huron High School Music Department present:  Disney's Beauty and the Beast 
Performances:  Friday, April 25 and Saturday April 26 at 7:30 AND Sunday, April 27 at 2:00   Performances are at McCormick Auditorium.  Reserved seating is available by calling Becky Nelson at  419-433-1356.

6.  Any student who plans to take college classes through the Dual Enrollment or PSEO Program is reminded that their application is due to the guidance office by Tuesday, April 15.  Missing this important deadline will result in your inability to take college classes at Firelands or in our building during the Fall of next school year.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Henning.

7.  You asked for it!  Bonbons are here for another week. French Club will be donating all of the proceeds to the Tanny Vonthron Scholarship fund and Stein Hospice in her honor.  See a French Club member to purchase your bonbons at the French classroom door either before school or after school everyday through next week.  Sale ends soon.

8. 
EHOVE summer school forms are available in the main office for students who have to repeat a core course that they did not pass this year.  You will be responsible for the tuition expense and transportation out to EHOVE for the class.  You must complete the form and then have Mr. Matheny sign it before you take it out to EHOVE.

9.  This is the time of year students will be looking for summer jobs.  You are reminded that if you are under the age of 18 you will need a work permit.  These are located outside the high school office.  In order to have the work permit completed, you are also required to have a physical.  If you do not have a sports physical on file keep in mind you will have to get one.  The work permit process takes place AFTER you are hired.  If you have any questions, stop by the office.

10.  Lunch today is a chicken patty sandwich or bosco breadsticks.
