In celebration of Open Education Week 2012, Professor Jim Taylor from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ)  recorded a video summarising the OERu model. 

Jim also provides a taster and demonstration of "free range" learning incorporating a "pedagogy of discovery" enabled by the global inventory of existing OERs, The Regional Relations in Asia and the Pacific course is scheduled to run as USQ's contribution to the OERu 2012 prototype

Jim Taylor suggested during the early planning phases of the OERu concept that this "is not theoretical speculation, but entirely viable".  I think he's right!
