The Overlay is mirrored, what can I do?

The mirrored image is intentional by Google and is totally fine. All other participants will see it correctly.

I've installed the app, but it doesn't work

Make sure that you installed the latest version of the Google Talk Plugin and that you have cleared your cache and cookies

What size should be the logo / overlay?

The optimal size for the logo is 75x75 pixel, but you can choose any size you want. Make sure that your logo is square for best results.

For the overlay you should create a transparent image with 640x360 pixel and build your own overlay (lower third including name, company logo top corner etc)

I chose an image and it crashed my hangout!

Make sure that you only choose overlay images which are less the 5 MB in file size, otherwise it'll crash your hangout.

How can I add this app to my brand page hangout?

Switch to our brand page and start a hangout with this link https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/?authuser=0&eid=PAGEID&gid=786183882931

Make sure that you replace the PAGEID with your own page ID.

Currently this doesn't seem to work, but we are working on a solution for that.

I updated my Google Talk Plugin, but it still doesn't work!

The latest version of the Google Talk Plugin might not be rolled out 100% yet. Especially the Linux version is not available at the moment. Google is working on fixing that. Stay tuned.

How can I install the app?

Just start a new hangout and confirm the permission request. It has to be the link from this post. You can also rejoin an existing hangout by adding gid=786183882931 to the URL.

How can I uninstall the app?

Unfortunately there is no way to uninstall hangout apps at the moment. You can only revoke the access you granted the app when you first installed it.#
