Purpose
The individual contractor seeks to address our current needs to help the development and implementation of Education Area activities to both Outcome 1: enhanced policies for excluded children and adolescents in education area and Outcome 2: quality social policies for vulnerable children and adolescents, in line with Components 1 and 2 of the Brazil Country Programme 2017-2021.

Result 1: Support the management of projects and relationship with donors and implementing partners
Result 2: Support the development of quality materials and knowledge products for internal and external audiences produced in a timely fashion
Result 4: Actively contribute to Itaú-UNICEF Award .
Key competences, technical background, and experience required
- Advanced degree in Communication, Management, Education, Psychology, Sociology or other social science field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience at national or international levels in relevant Education programmes. Experience in UN system agency or organization is an asset.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
- Knowledge on children’s rights issues, including the Convention of Rights of the Child and the Statute of the Child and the Adolescent.
- Experience in content production and project management.
- Team work skills and capacity to work with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge in the use of digital media tools and social networks.
- Experience in the production of materials for learning programs or content for social mobilization initiatives.

Duration: 11 months
