Growl uses very high CPU, ~ 90 - 100 %, occasionally.

Details:
OS: 10.7.3
Growl version: 1.3.3 [App Store]

Console message (flooding):

Growl: Core Data: annotation: -executeRequest: encountered exception = I/O error for database at /Users/my_user_name/Library/Application Support/Growl/notifications.history.  SQLite error code:21, 'unable to open database file' with userInfo = {
    NSFilePath = "/Users/my_user_name/Library/Application Support/Growl/notifications.history";
    NSSQLiteErrorDomain = 21;
}

Hello, We are aware of the issue, and are working on a resolution for
1.4. The resolution turned out to be more involved than initially
thought, and as a result it is taking us a bit longer than we would
like. For now, the best thing to do is restart Growl.
