App store Update for 1.3.3

Despite buying the update and running the uninstaller, the App Store
tells me Growl is installed.
It's not on this computer and even the .dmg files are for older
versions.
Where does the app store look? Maybe there's something to uninstall

The App Store looks _everywhere_ and is apparently finding a binary still. Your best bet is to grab GrowlVersionDetective and look on the first tab after it finishes its scan, it should tell you where all the GrowlHelperApp's and Growl.app's you have on your system.

No luck here. Plenty of Frameworks found. Running Growl Version = not running. Growl prefpanes = blank.

The funny thing about the app store is that it doesn’t see I have Lion, Pages etc etc, which I do have installed.

Is there another way of obtaining 1.3.3?

Hi, Thanks for this. The Growl Version Detective didn't reveal anything. Version = no version running and all pref panes blank. Is there another method of downloading Growl?
