are you on 10.8? did you turn on the Notification Center master switch in Growl?

I just installed Growl and by default it is set to display notifications for Omnifocus by items due soon or items overdue. I have several tasks that fit both scenarios yet I have not seen any notifications display. Looking for a little help.
