Act on notifications

Perhaps this is incompatible with where growl is going but I was wondering whether growl could forwards some notifications to an external application for processing and scripted actions. I'm not sure how it would be implemented but it would have a variety of uses.

You could probably do something along these lines with a GNTP
forwarder script/process. You'd basically use one of the existing
python/ruby/perl/etc GNTP implementations to implement the
notification forwarding protocol and setup Growl 1.3 to forward
notifications to it for processing.
