Hi,

on the wiki help http://wiki.greasespot.net/GM_setValue, it's written ' Values are saved in the Firefox preferences back end and can be manually inspected or changed by typing about:config in the address bar and searching for the preference name "greasemonkey.scriptvals.namespace/script_name.value_name"'.

It was true but now it is false (since 15th december). There is nothing more of greasemonkey in about:config. All values now are in some special files in the directory .../Firefox/Profiles/xyz.default/gm_scripts.

My problem is that these files are kind of .db (or .db-wal or .db-shm), and I don't know how to open, to read and to modify them (I tried with notepad+, OpenOffice Calc and Base, but it doesn't work).

Can someone :
- modify the page 'http://wiki.greasespot.net/GM_setValue' to give the good answer to my question ?
- or just tell me the answer ?

Thanks

Will definitely need to update that documentation, thanks.  The files in question are SQLite databases.

I don't think so : I tried to open them with Sqlite Manager for Firefox, with .db and after to change to .sqlite, it doesn't work

No one said to change it to .sqlite
The .db files are already in SQLite format.

I don't care of that : please read my question and answer my question, not another one.

My question is simple : I want to open these files, to read these files, to change these files, and to save these files. So my question is : how ? I want to know the software to do this, because with SQLite Manager and others softwares I tried, it doesn't work.

Thanks

It does for me on Firefox 26 and Nightly (screenshots attached, using
values from https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/153158 as example)

OK !!!
Your example was perfect : with this, I have understood how SQLite Manager works, and it makes all what I want !

Thanks a lot for your help
Best regards!

nb : I have no 'user account' to modify the page 'http://wiki.greasespot.net/GM_setValue'. If someone have one and have time to do this, I think it will be good for everybody ;)
