Hey folks,

We are very excited to announce that we have selected the winner of
the catalog tech challenge. It was a tough choice, five excellent
proposals, and we ended up using a combination of criteria and weights
to help in the decision process. Development Seed came up on top and
we are excited to start working with them soon.

If you are interested to see the proposals and the evaluation process,
check the links on this page:

Non related to the catalog, we also received an excellent proposal
from one of the students applying for the Outreachy summer internship
program. This is about implementing the OAM API to develop a plugin
for QGIS allowing to access OAM and upload imagery. We hope to get the
internship funded, we should have a response by the end of April.

I'm working to get a draft of the next OAM contract out for review
shortly. This will be the part of development work focused on
processing and tiling functions.

Sorry for the late notice on today's meeting. We'll resume next week
and we'll have Dev Seed developers join us to discuss the workplan.

And finally a reminder about the OAM sprint in DC on May 3-4. If you
are coming to the HOT Summit (http://summit.hotosm.org) you may
consider extending your stay and join us to hack some code for OAM.

Cheers,

Cristiano
