SAN FRANCISCO – July 21, 2014 – Rainforest Connection (www.rfcx.org), a San Francisco startup that recycles used phones into the world’s first real-time alert system to combat illegal deforestation, announced today that it is partnering with Indigenous tribes such as the Tembé people of the Amazon, to protect native lands under threat of destruction from massive black market illegal logging operations.
