Hi,

We are working on gr-gsmm,we have captured 25 mhz bandwidth data and extracting 200 khz(1 arfcn) in matlab. Then we are passing this data via file input block to input adapter. Sometimes the application is giving more output data and sometimes less out put data (after control channel decoder block) for the same input file. Can anyone please explain why it is happening like this.

thanks & regards

Hi,

It can happen if you use frequency offset correction loop in gr-gsm.
Messages that control correction are currently asynchronous so timing of
correction isn't currently deterministic. You can disable frequency
correction loop if you have device that doesn't require it. For
grgsm_decode you do this by not giving carrier frequency parameter.

In gnuradio-companion you can do this by disabling clock offset control
block.
