Hi all,

I just update my GWT version to the newest version : 2.4.
I have tried to create a DataGrid in a DialogBox, and i got the error
below :

If I replace DataGrid by CellTable, it works great.
Could you please have a look ?

It seems that there is an issue linked to the transparent scrollbar.
It there any possibility to use standard scrollbar instead ?

Thanks in advance !
Stephane

I have another issue ( smaller ) to report : in the GWT 2.4 javadoc,
the DataGrid object has exactly the same example code as the CellTable
object ->( I suppose that it's a bad copy paste )

I confirm the same issue. I'm also trying using DataGrid in the
DialogBox.

Can anyone point us to some solution other than just backing off to
CellTable. I really need scrolled content with fixed headers.

Thanks,
Yuriy.

I've just encountered this issue during my 2.4 upgrade and have found
the source of the problem, or at least in my case. I have gwt-
incubator-20101117-r1766 on my classpath also, and both this plus the
gwt-dev jar include classes from the flute CSS parsing library. The
incubator jar was higher on my classpath, so its version was being
picked up first and causing the problem.

The issue below confirms that the gwt-dev jar uses a modified version
of flute that allows underscores in @def names (and other places
too?), so letting the classloader find the incubator's version of
flute the prevents the OPACITY_DURATION definition from being parsed
properly. I guess this could have been a problem with pre-2.4 too,
and maybe I've just been lucky enough to never have used any widgets
that have an underscore in thier CSS @defs.

Anyways, this thread is a little old so maybe this post is too late,
but hopefully it can help someone else in the future.

Fast forward to February 2013, I am having the exact same problem but only when compiling in dev mode and only if doing so from eclipse...

Which again got resolved by rearranging the project classpath.

Thanks.
